SVA Collectives are open, member‑led communities of practice that bring together students and staff from any tertiary institution for a shared purpose

VET Collective

The VET Collective is an open community of practice for students and staff from vocational education and training (VET) providers across Australasia. It offers a space to share insights, strengthen capability, and explore practical approaches to embedding student voice in VET contexts.

  • Share practice and challenges unique to VET

  • Strengthen learner voice and partnership approaches

  • Explore opportunities for representation and governance

  • Build community and connection across the VET sector

Who Can Attend?

The VET Collective is open to all students and staff from any tertiary institution—membership with SVA is not required in line with our commitment to cross-institutional collaboration.

Why Attend?

  • Connect with peers across VET and dual‑sector providers

  • Explore sector‑wide issues and solutions

  • Share examples of effective student voice practice

  • Learn from diverse perspectives across the VET landscape
