The book captures experiences of partnering with students for governance and decision-making, showcases, panel discussions and interactive group sessions, and two international keynotes.

The ‘Making sure that the students aren’t just a tick box’ Student Voice Australia Pilot evaluation report, prepared in collaboration with the Australian Alliance for Social Enterprise and Student Voice Australia evidences an emergent roadmap for how institutions can work together to achieve outcomes for students and staff.

This tool enables staff and students to examine the spectrum of student engagement in institutional decision-making, specifically to determine the authenticity and meaningful participation of and partnership with students.

The STEPUP for Quality Enhancement principles, developed by Professor Sally Varnham (2017), presents a set of principles to facilitate and support student partnership in tertiary institutions and in the sector in Australia. These principles were developed through national sector-wide collaboration around student engagement and partnership and are a useful tool in building partnership approaches to engagement within your own institutions.
