SVA is hosted by the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) and follows a rotating host model that supports shared responsibility and broad engagement across the sector

Student Voice Australasia is guided by a collaborative governance model that brings students and staff together in shared leadership.

The structure below shows how our committees, networks, collectives connect- demonstrating clear lines of responsibility and transparent decision‑making.

Each year, our host institutions set the tone for what Student Voice Australasia can achieve. The leadership, creativity, and generosity of past and current SVA hosts have paved the way for the vibrant, sector‑shaping activities we deliver today. Our previous hosts were:

  • University of Southern Queensland 2023-2027 (current)

  • University of Adelaide 2020-2022

  • University of Technology Sydney 2019 (Pilot)
